Cornwall United Methodist Church Congregational Meeting

The congregation of CUMC met in the church fellowship hall following the worship services on Sunday, December 3. During our time together we heard an overview of what has been happening within the United Methodist denomination over the last several years, particularly in regard to the issues which have prompted many congregations to depart from the denomination.
Below is information which was shared during this meeting, including a copy of the slide presentation which was made, a video recording of the meeting and a faith statement which leaders in the church have drafted and presented to the congregation.
We anticipate future discussions and meetings in early 2024 in regard to these matters.
