From mission trips and retreats to rock climbing and laser tag, at Cornwall United Methodist Church you can be sure that this is a place where you can have fun while growing in Christ. Our Student Ministry is a safe place for teens to meet each other and know Jesus.
Getting More Familiar with the Word of God
Weekly Sunday School for youth at Cornwall United Methodist Church is a meaningful time to explore the Bible, ask thoughtful questions, and strengthen personal faith. Each session encourages open discussion and deeper understanding of God’s Word in ways that connect to everyday life. Through interactive lessons, prayer, and reflection, teens are guided to develop a lasting relationship with God and a genuine commitment to spiritual growth. It’s a safe, supportive environment where young people can grow together in faith, discover God’s purpose for their lives, and build the foundation for a lifelong journey of discipleship and devotion.
Building Relationships
Youth meetings at Cornwall United Methodist Church focus on building lasting relationships—with one another and with Christ. Through fun games, engaging activities, and shared experiences, students form genuine friendships rooted in faith and fellowship. Each gathering also offers meaningful worship and relevant lessons from God’s Word, helping teens grow spiritually and apply biblical truths to their daily lives. Youth meetings are a welcoming space to belong, connect, and discover God’s presence in community, friendship, and faith. It’s a place where joy and purpose meet, and where every young person can experience God’s love in real and transformative ways.
Missions & Ministry to Others
At Cornwall United Methodist Church, we believe in living out our faith through service and action. Our youth ministry provides a variety of hands-on opportunities to make a real difference in the lives of others. Each summer, our High School Youth, along with adult volunteers from the church, participate in a mission trip dedicated to serving communities in need. Middle School Youth also take part in a shorter mission trip, designed to introduce them to the joy of service and teamwork. These experiences strengthen faith, build compassion, and inspire a lifelong commitment to helping others in Christ’s name.
Confirmation Class
The Confirmation Class at Cornwall United Methodist Church is an important step in preparing for church membership and a deeper walk with Christ. This meaningful program invites youth to explore their personal faith, understand the foundations of Christian belief, and discover what it means to live as a follower of Jesus. Through study, discussion, and mentorship, participants are encouraged to ask questions, grow in spiritual maturity, and make a personal commitment to Christ as their Lord and Savior. Confirmation marks the beginning of a lifelong journey of faith, service, and connection within the church community.
