Bible2School Ministry to Cornwall Elementary School
Bible2School Cornwall Lebanon, PA
We are excited to announce a new ministry called Bible2School to begin at CUMC this fall. Third and Fourth graders from Cornwall Elementary School will come to our church for one hour a week to hear about Jesus. We will engage the children in songs, Bible stories, lessons, activities and prayer. This will be done with the child’s parental permission, due to a federal law called released time. Close to 60% of children do not regularly attend a church. Many of the children who participate in a Bible2School program hear about God for the first time. Please register students through the link above. Contact the church office at 717-272-0148 if you have any questions.

First Communion Class
First Communion at Cornwall United Methodist Church in Lebanon, Pennsylvania, is a meaningful milestone in a child’s spiritual journey. The church offers a special one-time workshop for children in second grade and older, along with their parents, to explore the meaning and sacred traditions of communion. During this interactive session, families learn about the symbolism of the bread and cup, the importance of remembrance, and how communion connects believers to Christ and one another. This foundational experience helps prepare children to participate more fully in worship and to take the next step of confirmation as their faith continues to grow.

I love children’s ministries because every moment spent teaching, laughing, and worshiping with kids reminds me of the pure joy of faith. Watching their curiosity, kindness, and excitement for God grow fills my heart with purpose. I feel blessed to help children discover that they are deeply loved by God and to walk alongside families as they build strong, faith-filled foundations for life.
