2025 Lenten Sermon Series: Jesus the Stranger
During this season of Lent, we will be walking with Jesus as we focus on his humanity. We will be journeying with Jesus to the cross, we will meet our Savior, who knows our pain and sorrow, and who offers healing through His grace and mercy. Through this series, may we be affirmed of God’s love poured out for each of us as we are transformed by His love and grace.
March 30: True Christian Discipleship – Matthew 7:15-20; Luke 6:20-23
There are many mixed messages we receive today that helps to support
our own interests and beliefs which contradict the good news of the
Gospel as we have received through the teachings in Scripture. We need
to know we are truly following Jesus the Christ – our Lord and Savior – our
Redeemer. We are called to take up the cross to follow Jesus – not the
ways of the world. How are you living an authentic life through Christ?
What is distracting you?
