Cornwall offers your child, up to grade 5, many opportunities to gather together for exciting fun and learning. Below are the available meeting times and places...
Little Angels
All preschool children and their moms are invited to drop in and enjoy this free program. While the children play, moms can chat and share information. This Play/Support group meets in the church nursery/toddler rooms every Friday morning from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m.
Children's Choir
Children age 3 and older are invited to help enrich our worship services with their shining smiles and delightful voices. Rehearsals are on Sundays after the worship services in the Chapel, and they will sing on the 2nd Sunday of each month in both the traditional and the contemporary worship services. There will be no choir during the summer months.
Children & Family Ministries
We offer activities which are fun for all ages, such as roller skating parties, bowling outings and the Fall Fun Fest. Keep your eye on the bulletin or newsletter for announcements.
Nursery
Loving care is provided for infants and children through age three from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Sunday mornings. Nursery care is also available for some special services. Our nursery is located in the original building in our Preschool Area, rooms #104 and #106.
Sunday School
Age-appropriate classes are provided for preschool and elementary children at 9:00 a.m. and Kids' Worship is available during the 10:15 and 10:30 worship services for children age 4 through fifth grade. Our dedicated teachers present biblical foundations for children in a loving environment. Class time may include stories, music, games, prayer and hands-on activities.
Vacation Bible School
VBS is a highlight of the summer for many children in our church and community! Come join the fun as children age 3 to grade 5 experience the Bible's intriguing stories and meet biblical characters "up close and personal" through song, story, crafts, drama and more.
First Communion Class
First Communion is an important step in the spiritual lives of many children. We offer a one-time workshop for children in second grade and older (and their parents) to explore and explain the tenents of communion. This will help prepare them to take part in confirmation when they are older.
Summer Camp
Church camp provides a wonderful opportunity for spiritual growth. It's more than just a fun week away from home! We encourage our children and youth to participate in this terrific program, and support it financially through "Camp Cash" vouchers.
Cub Scouts and Girl Scouts
We support the children of our community by sponsoring both Cub Scout and Girl Scout troops, which meet in our church at various times through the week. For more information, talk to Karen in the church office.
Kids' Worship
At Kids' Worship, children can enjoy their own special time of song, bible teaching, scripture learning, and activities that engage their interests. Children who are 4 years old up to 5th grade meet in the their designated classrooms for this exciting program. Preschoolers meet in the Preschool room which is located in the original church building next to the chapel. K-2nd meet downstairs in the newer building in room 58. 3rd-5th graders meet downstairs in room 59.
