Opportunities to Serve
Here is a list of service opportunities for December
oo Serving the Noon Meal at LCCM - Once a month
o Weather-strip the exterior doors
o Build shelves in janitor's closets & kitchen storage room
o Replace stained ceiling tiles
o Greeters or ushers - commit for one month or sub as needed (10:15 & 10:30 specifically)
o Sunday Morning Coffee Crew - clean up one Sunday each month
o Bread Ministry - deliver to first time visitors, rotating schedule
o CARE Ministry Meal Preparation and Delivery (Prepare a meal for a family in need - i.e. Hospital, Tragedy)
o Volunteer Office Helper - (daytime)

We are looking for people who want to learn about specific areas of service.
We have had dedicated servants who have been serving in special capacities for many years. We need people who want to learn about these areas so they can be available to help during periods of vacation or when the older folks need to pass the torch to younger members.
If you are interested in any of these areas, please click on the link to learn more about the duties and time commitment for each. Call Kim in the church office at 272-0148 or notify the person listed in each area if you are willing to serve.
Kitchen Ministry ~ cooking, inventorying supplies, managing kitchen activities, etc.
Bus Ministry ~ driving the Cornwall Manor seniors to church on Sunday
Chair Ministry ~ setting up chairs in the fellowship hall for Contemporary worship service
CARE Ministry ~ visiting or taking meals to shut-ins, receptions after funerals etc.
Greeters ~ greet people at the door and welcome visitors
Ushers ~ welcome people as they enter the service, hand out bulletins and welcome packets, take offering, etc.
Counting Ministry ~ teams count collection after the service
Hospitality ~ prepare coffee and snacks for Sunday morning
Communion Ministry ~ prepare the elements for communion. This can be a family ministry.
Music & Drama Ministry ~ worship team, chancel and children's choir, bell choir, drama team etc.
Gardening Ministry ~ gardening, weeding, mulching, planting etc. on church grounds
Handyman Ministry ~ occasional odd jobs, and help with various maintenance projects (men and women)
Secretarial Assistance Ministry ~ answering the phones, folding newsletters, data entry etc.
